"I started going to classes with Fit for Change when a friend invited me. I had just had a baby a few months before, and was stuck in a post-partum physical and emotional abyss. It took about a half an hour for me to stop feeling self-conscious and schlumpy, but Michelle (and later on, Pierie) was so fun, so kind, so enthusiastic, that I forgot to be self-conscious and began remembering how much I love dancing! And more importantly, I began thinking about how thankful I was to have been given the chance to use that love of dancing as a catalyst to help me climb my way back to health. It's been a significant outlet for me, and I'm grateful. I just love it. So thankful to have been invited all those years ago!"
