Class Descriptions

Our goal is to ensure every fitness level is safely met and challenged, while providing an opportunity for participants of every fitness level to achieve success. Classes are team-taught, ensuring that we can demonstrate and modify throughout class. This allows individual corrections without slowing down the pace. In addition, participants benefit from the unique strengths and experience each of our instructors bring to the table. Oh. And we're pretty funny!

Class Descriptions

DanceSTRONG Fitness©

Described by some of our participants as "Zumba on steroids", this class will leave you sweating and loving every minute of it! Exploring many different dance styles from Bollywood to Jive to Hip Hop we have created unique, original choreography that is easy to follow for the beginner, yet challenging enough for the more experienced participants. By offering high and low impact options for everyone's fitness level, we can proudly say our participants range in age from 16-76 and every one of them leaves having had a great workout! It is designed to produce results and push your body safely to its full potential. Here's what you can expect:
  • 60 minute class (Monday 6:45pm and Friday @ 9:30am at Triwood) - Classes held outdoors
  • Class consists of approximately 13-15 choreographed songs that offer high & low impact options and a stretch
  • Song selection varies from classes to class, week to week
  • Incorporates power, endurance, cardio and dance
  • EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Running shoes, water bottle ... and maybe a towel to dry off!

DanceSTRONG Combo

Offering the best of both worlds, this class combines DanceSTRONG Fitness© with targeted strength building. We start with a 40-minute medium/high intensity DanceSTRONG section followed by 15 minutes of strength building and a 5-minute stretch. Each week the strength portion will target specific areas of the body through a variety of bodyweight exercises and by utilizing portable equipment. This class is designed is to improve your overall cardio while increasing muscular strength and endurance. 
  • 60 minute class (Wednesday 9:30am @ Triwood) - Classes suspended until further notice
  • Classes consists of 40 minutes of DanceSTRONG followed by strength & resistance and a stretch
  • Focus on building cardio/endurance and increasing strength through targeted exercises
  • EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Please bring a set of 5-10 lb weights and a yoga mat. We also have a few extras at the hall​

Strength + DanceSTRONG Fitness©

If you are a little intimidated by the dancing but still want to give it a try while building strength at the same time, this is the class for you! We start with a low-medium impact DanceSTRONG Fitness© warm up/cardio and then move into a strength/resistance portion followed by a 5-7 minute stretch. We offer many options for those just starting out, all the way up to the hard-core fitness junkies. Equipment includes resistance bands (with different strength options), bender balls, sliders and free weights. Every class is different and has so much variety you will need to come back week after to week to make sure you didn't miss anything!
  • 60 minute class (Wednesday 6:45pm @ Triwood) - Classes suspended until further notice
  • Classes consists of 3-5 song DanceSTRONG warmup/cardio, strength & resistance and a stretch
  • Focus on upper & lower body strength training, core strength and cardio
  • Class format varies from week to week so you are never bored! This may include Tabata, circuits/stations, interval training & general group exercise
  • EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Please bring a set of 5-10 lb weights and a yoga mat. We also have a few extras at the hall.


NOTES: We offer drop-in and 10 or 20-class passes (which never expire), check the Fees/Payment page for more details.
