Our goal is to ensure every fitness level is safely met and challenged, while providing an opportunity for participants of every fitness level to achieve success. Classes are team-taught, ensuring that we can demonstrate and modify throughout class. This allows individual corrections without slowing down the pace. In addition, participants benefit from the unique strengths and experience each of our instructors bring to the table. Oh. And we're pretty funny!
What is DanceSTRONG Fitness?
Described by some of our participants as "Zumba on steroids", DanceSTRONG will leave you sweating and loving every minute of it! Exploring many different dance styles from Bollywood to Jive to Hip Hop we have created unique, original choreography that is easy to follow for the beginner, yet challenging enough for the more experienced participants. By offering high and low impact options for everyone's fitness level, we can proudly say our participants range in age from 18-78 and every one of them leaves having had a great workout! DanceSTRONG is designed to produce results and push your body safely to its full potential. With over 100 songs in our library, the song selection varies class to class, week to week. However you will probably see some of our favourites quite often. We also bring new choreography to the classes regularly so you will never be bored!!
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Monday and Friday:
- 45 minutes medium-high intensity DanceSTRONG
- 10 minutes strength building
- 5 minute stretch
- Monday classes feature DanceSTRONG + Upper Body Strength
- Friday classes feature DanceSTRONG + Core
- EQUPMENT REQUIRED: Weights for Monday; Mat for Friday
Wednesday
- 55 minutes varying intensity DanceSTRONG
- 5 minute stretch
